Burlanes Chelmsford opens its doors!
What a fantastic weekend we have had at the Burlanes Chelmsford Grand Opening! Thank you so much to everyone who attended our launch weekend, we really appreciate your support. Let's recap on the weekend...
Located in the heart of Chelmsford on Springfield Road, Burlanes Chelmsford occupies a large corner plot, with free customer parking behind the showroom! An open plan space with large windows, Burlanes Chelmsford is flooded with natural light, and our design team have really gone to town showcasing our latest furniture designs!
Burlanes Chelmsford opened it's doors on Thursday 29th June, and on Friday 30th June, the Mayor and Mayoress of Chelmsford, Cllr Duncan Lumley and Mrs Edna Lumley, joined us for the afternoon and cut the ribbon to officially open our showroom! We were also lucky enough to have the support of Chelmsford's new MP Vicky Ford, Cllr Mike Mackrory, Cllr Jon Devries and Cllr Julia Jeapes, who all gave us a lovely warm welcome to Chelmsford.
Burlanes Chelmsford showcases our three signature kitchen designs: Wellsdown, Hoyden and Decolane, along with a boot room, a breakfast pantry, a freestanding larder, handmade fitted bedroom furniture ,bathroom furniture and a range of tiles, flooring and home accessories. We also have a number of working appliances on display, including a fully functioning Mercury oven and a BORA induction cooktop. There is also a handmade Burlanes bench and table area, for our clients to discuss their project, plans and dream spaces with our design team.
The main kitchen island creates such an impact upon entering the showroom, not only due to its size, but also the lovely added features including integrated handmade wooden chopping boards and open shelving space, a useful prep sink and concealed pull-out bin area.

Our classic Burlanes kitchen larder is a lovely added feature to this kitchen area, with handmade panelled doors finished with a stunning latch handle. The Mercury oven is fully functioning, we were baking cookies all weekend and the showroom smelt divine!

Our Hoyden kitchen design is our take on the classic British kitchen, brought to life in our design studio with handmade wall panelling and shelving, inspired by traditional Church panelling.
