Sustainability and our impact on the environment is hugely important to us, and that is why we make a conscious effort to only use sustainably sourced materials and practises for the furniture that we manufacture.

We are delighted to share that both Burlanes Sevenoaks and Burlanes Chelmsford have joined the KBB Magazine's Close To Home initiative; showcasing the amazing work of independent kitchen, bedroom and bathroom retailers in local communities nationwide.

This weekend will mark 3 years of Burlanes Chelmsford, and what a fantastic 3 years it has been! To celebrate the occasion, we are looking back at our most loved projects designed by our Chelmsford design team, handmade in our workshop in Historic Rochester, and installed across Essex, London and Hertfordshire.

The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) is an independent non-for-profit organisation that works with furniture retailers and manufacturers to raise standards, improve service and increase consumer confidence, and as part of our on-going commitment to our unrivalled service, we are very pleased to share that we are now full members.

We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring a student from a school local to Burlanes Chelmsford on his incredible trip to Borneo later this year, with Camps International. Callum will be experiencing true off-grid living, trekking through the heart of the Bornean jungle and helping to protect orangutan habitats.

In September 2019, we were delighted to be invited to tour the incredible 3 million square metre Cosentino industrial park in Almeria, Spain. Both Burlanes Sevenoaks and Burlanes Chelmsford are Cosentino Elite showroom partners, and it was fascinating to learn the processes of extracting the stone we use and love in our kitchens everyday.

Quooker has launched its newest innovation: the Quooker CUBE, providing filtered chilled and sparkling water alongside 100°C boiling, cold and hot water, all from one tap, and we are excited to announce that Burlanes Chelmsford is one of the first stockists of the Quooker CUBE in the South East!

Working on the PR and Marketing team here at Burlanes, I am lucky enough to be able to flick through lots of lovely interior magazines daily, and I regularly chat with interior photographers, journalists and magazine editors about current trends, trend predictions and of course our beautiful bespoke kitchens and furniture.
